The 5 to 8 October leave window still falls inside the public-school spring break in NSW, the ACT and South Australia. Queensland and NT students return on Tuesday 5 October, while Victoria starts Term 4 on Monday 4 October.
NSW and ACT staff return on Monday 11 October for a student-free day, and students return Tuesday. NSW dates use the Eastern Division calendar.

The clocks change during the weekend
